Hello, I’m Natasha.
Fertility, prenatal and postnatal nutritionist, food lover, and mother. It’s my mission to support you to thrive wherever you are on your journey through motherhood with evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle guidance tailored to your unique needs.
My passion for nutrition and lifestyle medicine was sparked early on by my own health challenges. At 16, I was told I might have PCOS and would likely struggle to conceive. Later, a doctor dismissed my IBS symptoms as “all in my head.” As I juggled a demanding corporate career, I faced insomnia, anxiety, recurrent UTIs, and debilitating gut issues. It wasn’t until I moved to Sydney in 2014 that I truly understood the profound impact of lifestyle changes on overall health. That was my ‘aha’ moment—the catalyst for retraining as a nutritional therapist.
Partway through my training, I returned to London to start a family. Although I was fortunate to have a smooth pregnancy, giving birth in an NHS hospital during the aftermath of the COVID pandemic meant I was largely neglected in the days, weeks, and months that followed.
I felt incredibly alone as I tried to process the trauma of my post-birth experience, recover from major surgery, and cope with a colicky, reflux-prone baby—all while dealing with the extreme sleep deprivation of early motherhood.
When my GP suggested I stop breastfeeding and take medication for what I now recognise as postpartum depression, I chose a different path—prioritising functional testing, self-care practices, and focusing on my own nutrition as much as my baby’s.
Exploring the concept of Matrescence—the physical, emotional, hormonal, and social transformation into motherhood—also helped shift my perspective.
Talking with other mums, I realised my experience was, sadly, far from unique. Many women were navigating motherhood with little support, feeling societal pressure to 'bounce back,' and turning to the internet for answers—often feeling lost in a sea of conflicting or outdated information.
My own journey into motherhood, coupled with my passion for evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine, fuels my desire to specialise in helping other women. I believe all mothers deserve greater care and support during this transformative stage of life and I want to be there for you every step of the way.
